Following a recent rebrand and the launch of our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, EveryStory is entering an important new phase of development. We have clear ambitions to grow our impact, strengthen our organisation, and continue delivering outstanding support.

We are now seeking to appoint up to four new trustees to join our Board. This is an opportunity to contribute at a strategic level, helping to guide the future direction of the charity and ensuring we remain well governed, sustainable and values-led.

The role of a trustee

As a trustee, you will:

  • Play a key role in shaping and supporting the delivery of our strategy
  • Uphold our beliefs and ensure strong governance
  • Act as an ambassador for EveryStory and the people we support
  • Work closely with the Chair, fellow trustees and the Executive Team

You do not need previous trustee experience to apply.

Skills and experience

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  •  Health and social care
  • Marketing and communications
  • Charity fundraising
  • Finance

Salary

The role is not accompanied by any financial remuneration, although expenses for travel and childcare or other carers responsibilities may be claimed.
